The boot camp was open officially by Mr. Jinadu the representative of permanent secretary of applied science and technology, ministry of education, Oyo state. The programme was anchored by Mr Tosin Aderibigbe. It started with an opening prayer by Eniola Adekoya, a student of Community High School, ologuneru Ibadan. Then the welcome address was delivered by Miss Doreen anene, the founder of the STEM Belle. She gave us four reasons why we are in the boot camp which is to consolidate our STEM learning, to build woman who contribute to the community, to become ambassador of STEMBelle and to define our career. She also advise us to network and associate ourselves with others and have an open mindset to learning.

Mr Jinadu in his speech also advise us to know that we can learn everywhere, we need to actualize ourselves as a person and have it in mind that we are important. Mr E.F Owoeye, the representative of the principal of community high school ido, also advise us to set a good example, not to be intimidated, and not to be an island of knowledge, learning continues as long as we are alive. After the opening ceremony, we started the class with session on website design, which was delivered by Joseph Adewole and his partner, Miss Olugboju folashade. In this session we learnt the meaning of website, its function. We also learnt how to create a website, how to customize the webpage, type on the timeline, post and publish article on the webpage.
